Chicken shepherd's pie.
Ingredients
- Oil, some
- Spring onion
- Carrots, 1.5 cups (karotti)
- Garlic cloves, 3
- White whine, half cup
- Flour, 3 tbsps
- Sage, 2 tsps
- Chicken stock, 2 cups
- Chicken breast, 100g
- Carrot, one (Zunnarija)
- Peas, 1 cup
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Method:
- Cook the spring onion and carrot in some oil
- Mix often and continue cooking
- Add the garlic and continue cooking for about one minute
- Add the wine and let it evaporate
- Add the flour, sage and stock
- Once the sauce thickens, mix in the chicken and peas you just cooked
- Place the mix in the tray
- Add mashed potatoes to the surface
- Cook for around 30 minutes
